Homecoming weekend in Nacogdoches

Friday, October 23, 2026, includes several ways to celebrate:

• 4–7 PM: Back in Nac Social at the Nine Flags Bar, Fredonia Hotel.
• 6 PM: SFA men’s basketball vs. Sam Houston at William R. Johnson Coliseum.
• 8 PM: Homecoming bonfire and concert festivities at the Intramural Fields, with the Lumberjack Marching Band, spirit groups, a drone show, and a concert featuring ERNEST.

Four cabins beside one private lake

Sparks Lake Resort offers four distinctive private cabins near Stephen F. Austin State University and historic Downtown Nacogdoches. Each cabin gives you a comfortable place to return to after enjoying local events.

• Bear Cabin: Standard occupancy of four guests, with a maximum of six.
• Deer Cabin: Standard occupancy of four guests, with a maximum of six.
• Wolf Cabin: Standard occupancy of eight guests, with a maximum of ten.
• Lumberjack Cabin: Standard occupancy of eight guests, with a maximum of ten.

Between Nacogdoches activities, enjoy views of the Resort’s private lake and time outdoors. Fishing and available lake activities, including equipment rentals, are reserved for registered overnight guests and are subject to Resort rules and availability.
